For the last nine and a half months, I’ve been a proud breastfeeding Mama but have struggled to find decent nursing bras on the high street. I’ve been measured by a store assistant that asked me why I thought I was wearing the wrong size without putting a tape near my body. I had given up hope in finding a well-fitting nursing bra in the limited high street stores in our nearby towns, so was chuffed when Hot Milk Lingerie got in touch and asked me to review one of their nursing bras.
I used the ‘Bra Size Guide’ available on the Hot Milk Lingerie website to measure myself and I chose the Show Off nursing bra in ivory in, what I believed to be, the correct size. When it arrived, I tried it on and was so pleased that it was a comfortable fit. The 100% cotton lined cups are so soft and allow the skin to breathe.
The A-frame design offers excellent support and clipped, drop-down cups allow for very discreet feeding. The non-wired, soft cup ivory bra is finished with geometric lace trim, nude linings and bow. The straps are strong, they slacken from the back and don’t move once adjusted to the correct place.
There are six hook and eye fastenings at the back which allow for ribcage expansion and comfort. Overall, I’m incredibly pleased with the nursing bra from Hot Milk Lingerie. I’ve never been one for a soft cup or a non-wired bra as I’ve never felt supported enough, but the Show Off ivory nursing bra ticks all my boxes. It does come up pretty high at the front, so I couldn’t wear it with a reasonably low-cut top, but it’s rare that I do nowadays anyway. I wouldn’t hesitate to turn to Hot Milk Lingerie when looking for other nursing bras.
