New Children’s Book: The Parent Agency by David Baddiel – *Giveaway*

David Baddiel, famous for his career in British Comedy, television presenting and his partnership with Frank Skinner, has written his first Children’s book.

“The Parent Agency” surrounds Barry Bennett, who hates being called Barry.  Barry finds himself within a world where parents don’t ‘have’ children, but the children are allowed to choose their own parents!  This opportunity to pick his perfect mum and dad is obviously not one to miss!

The book is written for children of 9 years or over and is really well illustrated by Roald Dahl Funny Prize Winner Jim Field giving children’s imagination a head-start.  The book is divided into short chapters to allow easy reading by young bookworms.

  1. My Dad could dial the “Dad jokes” down a notch or two and my Mum can stop stressing about mundane things, while letting really important stuff fly over her as if it was nothing.

  2. my parents have both died now and I can’t think of anything I would change as they struck a good balance between them! I would have loved to have a younger sibling tho 🙂
