Meal Planning Monday – 26/01/2015

It’s Monday again!  Last week, we managed to stick to the plan pretty much to the detail.  Really pleased!  I enjoyed a weekend away with a couple of awesome girl friends, so didn’t really stick to the clean eating thing all that well…  So I haven’t weighed myself this week!  A has done really well again though, losing a further 4 lbs, bringing his total weight loss down to -18 lbs!  All very proud, as you can imagine!

So this week, we’re a bit all over the place again.  A is away from home Monday until late Thursday, and I have tap class on Wednesday which means O will be staying at his grandparents house on Wednesday.  On Sunday, A and I are off to Manchester to see Phoenix Nights Live and so we’ve got a 3-course Sunday Dinner booked at James Martins’ restaurant!  Lucky me!  I can’t wait…  Here’s the plan for this week:

Day Breakfast Dinner Tea Snacks
Mon Porridge with Honey, Banana & Pecans Harissa Chicken with Bulgar Wheat salad Chicken & Vegetable Pie 1 Piece of Fruit & Nuts
Tue Beans on Toast Homemade Soup and Danio yogurt Pasta Bolognese 1 Piece of Fruit & Nuts
Wed Bacon Sandwich Leftover Pasta Bolognese Mince & Vegetable Pie with Tumbled Spuds 1 Piece of Fruit & Nuts
Thu Beans on Toast Leftover Pasta Bolognese Leftover Mince & Veg Pie with Tumbled Spuds 1 Piece of Fruit & Nuts

  1. Sounds like a delicious week! I really need to get planning my breakfasts and lunches – maybe then I’d actually lose some weight for a change! Have a great time on Sunday!

    1. Thank you! It does help to plan all meals, I think, especially when trying to lose weight. Organisation is key! X

    1. They are essentially crushed potatoes. Not enough to be mashed, but tumbled enough to be different to boiled x

  2. I’ve only recently started meal planning so have only been doing the main evening meal but I’m going to start planning mine & little man’s breakfast & lunch too to stop me getting tempted with something I shouldn’t!

  3. All looks yummy…I love your use of leftovers, I often forget to plan those in! Hope you have a great week 🙂 xx
