Valentines Day is fast approaching and so I’ve been looking to find the perfect gift for my husband. He’s possibly the most awkward guy to buy a present for, like, ever. He has everything. His most recent request is an Apple Watch, although I don’t think they’ve actually been released yet, and I definitely can’t afford to buy one of those! He is, however, a board game fanatic (as am I) and the lovely folks at Toxic Fox have sent me this perfect framed print just for us!
This thoughtful gift displays the couples names in Scrabble style tiles and can be personalised by use of up to 15 letters per name. It even calculates the word score shown on the bottom right corner of the print – we scored a grand total of 21! This beautiful design is printed on high gloss paper and is framed in a 30 x 40 cm black frame, ready to hang.
The design also allows you to personalise the date shown in the top left corner of the print. I chose to use the date that A and I met – Wednesday 8th September 2010. We were at a rehearsal for a musical called Spend, Spend, Spend!. Unfortunately, the musical didn’t end up being staged but we were both given the leading roles of the couple who fell in love. The words underneath the date on the print are lyrics taken from the song the lead male, Keith, sings about his new wife, Viv. This song has played a huge part in our lives, being the first song we sang to O immediately after his birth and that we still sing to him every night at bedtime. We also used these lyrics on our Wedding cake when we got married in September 2012, so this was very fitting for this beautiful Valentines Day gift.
I am over the moon with this product, which can be found within the Toxic Fox Personalised Valentines Day gift collection here.
