This last week has been… ok… Our Meal Plan has more or less been as planned, with a couple of minor changes. Those being the dreaded TAKEAWAY. However, this week I plan to be a lot more organised!! Valentines Day was really lovely though; we really enjoyed the meal that we cooked together!
We are continuing to monitor our weight loss and it is still going strong! Although this week has been a bit of a blip for both of us, with A not getting to the gym as much and our lack of organisation meaning that we’ve resorted to a couple of takeaways.
We are in the process of trying to use up some of the things that are in the freezer – albeit, one of the freezer drawers is almost completely filled with homemade soup. Meal planning is such an easy way to help with this! As with last week, I’m mixing it up and trying some new recipes this week; namely the Cauliflower Curry, Cajun Chicken and Tuna Steak. So here’s our plan for next week.
|Mon||Bacon Poached Egg and Tomatoes||Leftover Pork Jambalaya||Cauliflower Curry & Rice|
|Tue||Beans on Toast||Leftover Curry||Tuna Steak with Lemon & Chilli & Pasta|
|Wed||Porridge with Banana and Honey||Homemade Soup||Beef Stroganoff with Rice|
|Thu||Bacon Sandwich||Leftover Stroganoff||Harissa Chicken with Bulgar Wheat|
|Fri||Bacon Poached Egg and Mushrooms||Leftover Harissa Chicken||Cajun Chicken with Potato Wedges|
|Sat||Bacon Sandwich on Wholemeal Bread||Homemade Soup||Slow Cooked Beef Stew|
|Sun||Boiled Eggs and Soldiers||Tagliatelle Carbonara||Sunday Roast|
As always, I’m linking up with At Home With Mrs M for #mealplanningmonday.
