Mother’s Day Gift – Photobox Collage Canvas Review

I have been kindly asked by Photobox to review a Collage Canvas to celebrate Mother’s Day.  I thought it was a really nice idea to use photographs from a number of momentous occasions in our families lives and take this opportunity to produce a beautiful personalised gift.  Usually for Mother’s Day, I would gift a bouquet of flowers or chocloates to both my Mum and Mother-in-Law.  This year, we’ve been able to give something that will hopefully be held close to our Mother’s hearts and remember some really happy times.

For those that haven’t used the Photobox website, it is incredibly user-friendly.  There are a great number of options available such as personalised canvases, mugs, cushions, as well as standard photo prints ranging in size.

I chose to put together a collage of photographs of my Mum and I, as well as pictures of O and I, to be printed onto a canvas of 60 x 40cm to gift to my Mum.  It was extremely easy to upload my chosen photographs from my computer hard drive and I could also access photographs from my personal social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram and Flickr.  Once I’d uploaded the photographs to my Photobox account, it was really easy to drag and drop the photographs into my chosen layout and edit each photo within it’s new position.  There are a number of Mother’s Day gift options available with text and creative embellishments that can be added into your design to help produce the perfect gift.

Top Left: O and I at Mum’s Wedding; Far Left: Mum, Brother and I at my Graduation; Centre: O and I taking a crazy Selfie; Bottom Centre: Mum’s parents, Mum and I at her Birthday Meal; Bottom Right: Mum and I at my Hen Party; Bottom RIght: Mum and O immediately after O’s birth; Top Right: Mum and I on my Wedding day.

To create my Mother’s Day canvas, I have chosen photographs from my wedding, my Mum’s wedding, my graduation, O’s birth and a family birthday party, with a selfie thrown in there for good measure!  Creating this gift has shown me how infrequently I have my photograph taken with my Mum when we see each other quite often.  This is something that I’d really like to try and improve!  Photographs are the perfect way to share happy memories, especially when the good times can be so quickly forgotten.

The canvas arrived really quickly, with email updates at each stage of the delivery.  It is really well-made; a great sturdy product.  The photographs are printed to a high quality on white canvas, although the background colour can be changed.  The Collage Canvas is such a great product and I can’t wait for our Mum’s to open them as their Mother’s Day gift!  I love the canvas so much, I’ve even ordered a similar design for my mother-in-law.  I hope neither of them see this post before Mother’s Day though as it’s a bit of a spoiler!
