Last week was a success! We’re getting better at this meal planning lark, I tell you. Quite proud considering how much food we used to throw away and how much money it used to cost us! You can read what we got up to last week in my #LittleLoves post – eBay, Hodor and Silence.
Today is a bank holiday so hubs is off work, but it’s also half-term week so O is home this week too. We’ve had a lovely weekend spending time with family and have some fun things planned for this week too. On Saturday, we went to my in-laws house for homemade pizzas in their new pizza oven! It was so much fun and all the kids enjoyed making the pizzas from scratch.
Today, we’re off to my mums house for a bit of a family gathering. My brother and sister-in-law and my grandparents are going too, so will be nice to see everyone! Fingers crossed the weather is good enough for a barbecue in the garden, but if not, the plan is to have a hot buffet inside. Either way, it’ll be a nice way to spend our bank holiday Monday afternoon.

Thursday – Chilli with Rice and Nachos
