We had such a tasty dinner last night! Hubs and O made some homemade pasta served with roasted chicken thighs and a homemade tomato and pepper sauce. It was lush! We’re definitely into the whole fresh and homemade pasta thing at the moment. O loves getting stuck in to the cooking. I’ve made a bid to find him some child-friendly knives that are sharp enough to cut things up. If you have any suggestions of helpful kit for the kitchen, I’d love to know!
We’ve had a pretty good week all in all. Followed the plan more or less(!) and looking forward to a new week. I weighed myself for the first time in a year last week and found that I’m around half a stone to a stone heavier than I’d like. My pre-pregnancy jeans fit, but are a bit tight around the tummy so I’m now on a bit of a mission to slim down.
Since having Q nearly four months ago, I haven’t worried about what I’ve been eating or the amount of exercise I’ve been doing. I’ve been concentrating on making it through the day (and night) providing my babies with the love and care they need. I’m still breastfeeding Q so I need to take that into account too. My aim now is to get out for a fairly decent walk with the pram at least twice a week whilst O is at school and to cut down on the chocolate and snacks. Being at home, it’s so tempting!

We’ve got a really busy week this week with Q’s baptism on Sunday to prepare for. I’ve got a bit of work to fit in, dentists appointment this morning and the blog to keep on with as well as preparing a buffet with the family and painting my nails! Keeping it real, as ever!
