The world of Disney is taking over my blog! As you might have read, our little family are taking our first trip to Disneyland and I wanted to flood my blog and all my channels with the Disney love. Who doesn’t love to get caught up in the Disney magic?! I’ll be featuring a blogger each day and asking them some burning questions about all things Disney!
Today we welcome Lisa from Its A Blogs Life.
What’s your favourite Disney film?
I simply can’t pick just one favourite – I have loads, but recently I watched Disney’s The Good Dinosaur and I absolutely loved it. It was such a good feel movie, I felt happy, sad and even had tears in my eyes at times. I can’t say it’s my all time favourite though – I adore lots of Disney movies but that one was my most recent watch.
Who is your favourite Disney princess?
I love Belle from Beauty & the Beast , I adore her dress (the one she wore at the end of the film) and when we visited Florida she was the best princess with my little girl – when she signed her autograph book she kissed the page leaving her lipstick mark behind.
Who is your favourite Disney prince?
I think Kristoff from Frozen is quite sweet. All he wanted to do was mind his own business hanging out with Sven but instead got dragged into the dramas of trying to find Elsa. Battling against the wind, rain and snow when all he probably wanted to do was sit by a warm fire!
What’s your least favourite Disney film?
Aladdin. When I was younger it was one of the films I really didn’t like and never really enjoyed watching. I don’t know why. It could be the darkness of the colours compared to some of the brighter Disney films.
What’s your favourite Pixar film?
It has to be hands down Toy Story. I really love all three but I think the first one has to be my favourite. I love the storyline, the little snippets of humour only us adults will understand and oh course the famous song ‘You’ve gotta friend in me’ Hearing that at the beginning always has me singing along.
What’s your least favourite Pixar film?
I think this one has to be Brave. I didn’t even finish watching it until the end. It just never got into it and again I found it a dark film like Aladdin. I prefer the brighter coloured films. In fact I can’t even tell you what the storyline is in Brave and I have no intentions of watching it again either really.
What’s your kids favourite Disney film?
My little boy who’s 4 is most likely to be Toy Story as well. He went through a stage recently just watching it over and over again, sat on the sofa with his Buzz & Woody that he got for Christmas last year – its all he wanted. My daughter who’s 13 said her’s is Lion King.
Who is their favourite character?
I asked C (who’s 4) and he doesn’t know! I then asked L (who’s 13) and she said Ariel from ‘The Little Mermaid’
What’s your favourite Disney film soundtrack?
I quite like the soundtrack to The Little Mermaid. I do love Sebastian and ‘under the sea’.
Which Disney animal would you like as a pet?
Gus from Cinderella is adorable, so I would say him & all his little mice friends.
There has been Disney films released for so many years – which was released closest to the year you were born, and have you seen it/what do you think of it?
I was born in 1981 so the Disney film released that year was ‘The Fox & Hound’ and I have to say it’s a film i’ve never even watched. Maybe I should do.
If your family were to star in their version of “The Incredibles”, what would your superpowers be and why?
It would be pretty cool to be able to have powers to work a time machine. Return to past dates you want to re-live, stop time to soak up special moments that bit more and slow down time so the kids stay this age for a little bit longer.
