The world of Disney is taking over my blog! As you might have read, our little family are taking our first trip to Disneyland and I wanted to flood my blog and all my channels with the Disney love. Who doesn’t love to get caught up in the Disney magic?! I’ll be featuring a blogger each day and asking them some burning questions about all things Disney!
Today we welcome Emily from Emily and Indiana.
What’s your favourite Disney film?
I would probably have to say The Lion King (followed closely by it’s sequel which is almost as good!). The songs are so catchy and the story is fab. Although the scene where Mufussa dies still makes me sad!
Who’s your favourite Disney character?
Tinkerbell has always had a little spot in my heart. She’s so sassy and cheeky, and I just love the idea that fairies do exist.
Who’s your favourite Disney villain?
Ooh Ursula! She’s brilliant and evil at the same time. My toddler calls her ‘the naughty lady’.
Who is your favourite Disney princess?
Probably Belle from Beauty and the Beast. She loves to read, loves adventures and just wants more from her life. She’s a great role model I think.
What’s your least favourite Disney film?
Not because I hate the film, but Fox and the Hound is just far too sad. The scene where she leaves him in the woods – heartbreaking!
What’s your favourite Pixar film?
Toy Story of course! It’s the original and definitely the best.
Which Disney/Pixar film do you think is overrated?
Inside Out was not what I was expecting. I wasn’t really a huge fan, and am actually quite glad we didn’t buy the film. The funniest bits were probably in the advert!
Which Disney/Pixar film do you think is underrated?
Classics such as Mulan, Hercules, and Pocahontas are always overlooked, yet they’re some of my favourite films. The songs are fab, storylines are great and you really can’t beat the classics.
What’s your kids favourite Disney film?
It depends what mood you catch Indiana in. Some days she’s Frozen obsessed, and then she’ll go through a Cars obsession. She loves singing Frozen songs though!
What’s your favourite Disney film soundtrack?
Hercules. I have the soundtrack on my iPod!
What’s your favourite song?
Hercules – Won’t Say I’m In Love.
Which Disney animal would you like as a pet?
Mushu – he’s funny, helpful and hey, who doesn’t want a dragon?!
There has been Disney films released for so many years – which was released closest to the year you were born, and have you seen it/what do you think of it?
There were actually quite a few released in 1993 – Cool Runnings, Hocus Pocus and The Nightmare Before Christmas to name a few. All absolute classics and I’ve watched every single one! The Nightmare Before Christmas is actually part of our Christmas tradition, we watch it every Christmas Eve.
