The world of Disney is taking over my blog! As you might have read, our little family are taking our first trip to Disneyland and I wanted to flood my blog and all my channels with the Disney love. Who doesn’t love to get caught up in the Disney magic?! I’ll be featuring a blogger each day and asking them some burning questions about all things Disney!
Today we welcome Lindsay from Newcastle Family Life.
What’s your favourite Disney film?
The little mermaid, I remember going to see it at the cinema when it first came out and I loved it! We went to Florida not long after and the all the parades were little mermaid inspired and it made me love it even more. I still love the film now many years later.
Who is your favourite Disney princess?
It would have to be Rapunzel, I think that she is a bit crackers and so likeable.
What’s your least favourite Disney film?
I can’t stand Hercules, the other half had it on TV for the kids the other week and it had to leave the room, I found it so boring!
What’s your favourite Pixar film?
Oh, it has to be the Toy Story films, all three of my children have loved them. We watch them all of the time and I never get bored of them.
What’s your least favourite Pixar film?
What’s your kids favourite Disney film?
My 2-year-old does not really sit still long enough to watch films yet but he loves Bing bong one of the characters from Inside out.
What’s your favourite song?
It has to be Part of your world from the little mermaid, I used to sing it so often when I was a child that I still know the whole thing off by heart over 20 years later!
If you could choose to be one of the characters, who would you be?
Oh, I am not sure, one of the princesses so that I could live in a big castle. Although most of them have been through some crazy ordeals.
If you could be best friends with one of the characters, which would you choose?
There have been Disney films released for so many years – which was released closest to the year you were born and have you seen it?
Which Disney animal would you like as a pet?
What did Ariel do about fishing in Eric’s kingdom once she became human?
Did glass slippers become a fashion trend in Prince Charming’s kingdom when Cinderella became the princess?
They did and now every time a maiden gets married in the kingdom it has become the tradition to wear glass slippers on her wedding day. That is how the men in the kingdom propose, instead of getting down one knee with a ring they get down on one knee with a glass slipper.
Did Snow White ever eat an apple again?
No, she now has a phobia of them and makes the dwarfs remove them from the forest with the help of the animals so she never has to set eyes on one again.
Are Anna and Kristoff getting married anytime soon?
Yes, they are planning a huge wedding celebration. It took Anna along time to talk Kristoff round to a big royal wedding as he wanted a low-key affair with his troll family. The trolls will be at the wedding though as they will be arranging and conducting the wedding ceremony in the palace.
Does Belle like Adam better as a beast or human?
She likes him better as a beast. I always thought he looked a bit strange as a human and not at all handsome and prince-like. My three year old always cry’s when he turns into a prince at the end of the film, she must agree with me.
Does Merida end up marrying any of the three guys who were to “shoot for her hand”?
No, she ended up eloping to Gretna Green and marrying a local man she met whilst out riding her horse. She is living very happily with triplets of her own.
What’s Genie up to?
He is having a fantastic time running a bar in some exotic location, Aladdin and Jasmine visit him for holidays as he is their children’s godparent.
