Me and Mine – November 2016

Little bit late with this post – which seems to be the way things are at the moment!  Life has been pretty busy this month, ending in a spell of illness for all of us but particularly Q.  The poor mite was admitted to the children’s ward for an overnight stay and medication to help him breathe following a bout of bronchiolitis.  He’s home now and much better than he was, thankfully!

This November, it’s all been about settling in.  O has returned to school after our trip to Disneyland Paris and Q has started to attend settling in sessions at nursery.  There have been some pretty big changes at A’s work, so he’s adapting to those, and I’m attempting to familiarise myself with the idea of heading back to work in January by attending some Keeping in Touch days at the office.

I’m sharing family photos of our trip to Disney – I know, it’s cheating!  But here’s what we’ve been loving this month:

A has been loving:

+ The Crown on Netflix;
+ Putting up the Christmas Lights outside
+ Receiving recognition for a successful project
+ Helping O with his homework

Steph has been loving:

+ Treating herself to some new clothes
+ Working with some fantastic brands
+ Putting up the Christmas tree
+ The Walking Dead on Fox

O has been loving:

+ Losing his first tooth and experiencing his first Tooth Fairy visit
+ Going to the Christmas Fayre at school
+ Decorating the Christmas Tree
+ Having three sleepovers at Grandma’s house

Q has been loving:

+ Getting better after being poorly
+ Waybuloo
+ Sitting up for long periods to play and chatter
+ Making new friends at nursery

  1. Wow you really got so many great family captures in Paris Disneyland. Looks like you made the most of it and had a blast. I love these. We really want to go next year with the kids. Happy Holidays. #meandmineproject

  2. Oh I’m sorry he’s been so poorly, I’m glad he’s on the mend now and I do hope that’s the last of the illnesses for you for the winter.
