Easter eggs seem to have been on sale for weeks! Almost as soon as Christmas is over, chocolate eggs line the shelves of the supermarkets instead. I don’t know for sure, but I could hazard a guess that your kiddies end up with a mountain of chocolate that seems to last forever! It sure happens in our house! I’m always on the lookout for alternative gifts at Easter, especially for my own boys, and I was delighted to hear Lush were launching an Easter range!
I attended the launch event at my local store in Carlisle a couple of weeks ago and I was so excited, knowing how much fun I’d had at the last event! There were a handful of influencers from the Instagram and YouTube communities, as well as a couple of other bloggers. It was lovely to meet some new (and local) faces!
How satisfying is a fizzy bath ballistic with such beautiful colours!?
We kicked off the evening by making our very own Creamy Candy bubble bar. Seeing the natural ingredients used to make such a luxurious product is really quite surprising – and all Lush products are hand made and vegan friendly so there’s something to suit everyone. We were then shown the different products in the Easter range and were able to try out a couple of things.
One of my favourite products is the Golden Egg bath ballistic. Talk about glitter!! I’ve actually been given one of these to try out and can’t wait. Has been a while since I had a good excuse to have a proper bath – being a working mum of two means I don’t get much time to myself!
There’s also a pretty awesome bubble bar set called Bunch of Carrots, because it actually looks like a bunch of carrots! My 5 year old O would love these and I’m thinking of buying him these as part of his Easter gift. He loves a good bath – and it gives me some time to get things done while he plays away. Bonus!
If you’re looking for a bigger gift, the Golden Egg gift set is full of lovely treats. It reminds me of that scene in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with Veruca Salt – but a lot less spoiled and a lot more treats. The packaging would make a great little storage box for makeup, nail polishes or other bits and pieces.
There were so many cute bath ballistics – Chick N Mix for sure – and other sweet treats, including a Flopsy face wash jelly and a chocolate flavoured lip scrub which is super yummy. I can’t wait to get back to the store to pick up some faves and some new things to try out. Thanks to the ladies hosting us at the Carlisle Lush store – it was lovely to see you all again! Don’t forget to check out the new Easter range in your local Lush branch.
