Christmas Lights Switch-On Events in Cumbria 2017

One of my favourite things to do to get into the mood for Christmas is go to one of the local Christmas Lights Switch-On events in Cumbria.  Wrapped up all cosy in our hats, scarves and gloves, sipping on a hot chocolate and watching the children play on the roundabouts and fairground rides.

I love to watch the entertainment provided on the stages too – local children’s choirs, dance schools and live musicians performing Christmas sets for the crowds.  Then the countdown to the switch on… I wonder if they’ve ever flicked the switch too early??  Oh, the pressure!

Anyway, I’ve compiled a list of the Christmas Lights Switch-On events in Cumbria for all my lovely local readers – please share on Facebook and Twitter with your friends to make sure no-one misses out on the fun!
